Available to hire daytime or evening, the Nave is a highly adaptable space that can be transformed into the perfect backdrop for dinners, large receptions, fashion shows, award ceremonies, live music and presentations. The setting will not leave you or your guests disappointed, with the combination of historical significance, and the beauty of the architecture, the Nave will provide an ideal backdrop.
The Nave can be hired on its own, or along with one of our other venue spaces. You can enjoy a drinks reception in one of our wonderful outdoor spaces, or in the equally inspiring Retro Choir before you start the main event. Capacity ranges from 800 for a reception, to 700 if you are looking for a theatre layout, 150 for hosting a dinner and 100 for cabaret. The Nave is highly customisable to fit every one of your event needs.

The Retro Choir
Atmospheric and intimate, the Retrochoir is a space steeped in a surprising history. It once served as a Bishops Court, trying and condemning notable figures in history for their crimes, before being let out to a baker, who used it to keep livestock. Today it is home to four small chapels, dedicated to individual saints for worship.
Located at the east end of the Cathedral, guests enjoy the historic, medieval splendour of the space, featuring a barrel vaulted ceiling and intricately designed stained glass windows.
Available to hire as a stand alone space or in conjunction with the Nave, the Retro choir is the perfect space for an intimate corporate occasion, seating 80 for a dinner or 200 for a standing reception.
