Unique Filming Location

The Cathedral and grounds offer a one of kind backdrop for film and photography projects, with a rich and historic ambience fit for various different types of client. From big, to small, a number of notable productions and shows have been filmed using the unique architecture of the Cathedral as their backdrop, and it is not difficult to see why.

We can provide commercial film, TV and photography opportunities that are steeped in history and perfect for conveying a range of stories. You may have spotted us recently in The Crown (Netflix) and Broadchurch (ITV) as well as various BBC productions.

As well as our public areas, access can be granted behind the scenes, including the Cathedral roof with a rarely seen view across London and the bell tower, complete with historic spiral staircase and stonework. This exclusive level of access allows you to show historic parts of this Cathedral that the public do not get to see, front and centre in your project.

Fees are chargeable for all commercial filming and photography. Rates will depend on the size of the crew, the type of production and the management required for the project.
